"I e-mailed you in January asking questions about Nailite siding. Well, my house is about 75% done now and I had to let you know what is going on!! The people in my town are going bananas over it!! I told you that I live in a quiet residential neighborhood, but the street I live on is the only way to enter a large city park. So we get a lot of traffic this time of year because of all the kids playing summer baseball. My neighbor said she is getting tired of having to slam on her brakes all the time when she gets in front of my house because everyone slows down to look and see how it's coming along! The purpose of this letter is to sincerely thank you for all of your help in the above siding being installed on our home.
Don Cooper put several crews on this and they did a great job with as little disruption as they possibly could. I have never seen people work harder in the summer heat and the professionalism that they showed was very much appreciated. In addition, Don came by the job frequently to make sure that everything was going well.

The article in this week's Island Gazette (July 30th) speaks very well of Nailite and Don Cooper. The statement by your president, Howard Wasserman, "Nailite with a look so real you'll be tempted to pick at the splinters" is so true. The new siding looks beautiful and ironically, they are completing a condo next to our house and the competitive siding used on that project is no comparison to Nailite. It looks cheap and artificial and you cannot see the "splinters".

Finally, I would like to emphasize how much we appreciate the promptness and professionalism of both Nailite and Don Cooper. It is good to see companies like Nailite that keep their word and back up their products without a lot of hassle.

Dear Nailite,

I'll be sending some photos of our house soon. We've been in it for a few months now, and still are impressed with the handsplit Nailite shakes. We've built a timber frame home on top of a mountain in north Georgia. From the outside, there is no way anyone could know what the inside is. With the weathered white shake, and a cranberry steel roof, and a great deal of glass, the outside is a perfect blend with the natural surroundings. It's amazing the number of people that have critisized me for building such a "high maintenance" home as cedar shakes. I love it. They're always astonished that they couldn't recognize what it really is. My builder was equally impressed, and although he had never used the product, I insisted on it, and he has since recommended it to other custom home owners.

We began construction of a new home in Atmore. Alabama in Spring 2004. We had decided to use Certainteed vinyl cedar siding based on a relative's use of it. We saw your product (RoughSawn Cedar) on the model home at the Atlanta Home Show and were sold on it instead. I remember the promise that it will withstand hurricane force winds. We were 6 weeks from moving in when Hurricane Ivan hit Atmore, doing immeasurable damage. Not one piece of siding moved. As luck would have it, the paths of Ivan and Dennis (a couple of weeks ago) crossed at Atmore. Again, no siding damage. The damage around town will support the claim that these were no weenie winds. Your sales rep's claim stood the test. Oh, by the way, it looks great too. We love our siding.
